Get to know Das:

I came into the country in Year 2000 to work at Middlemore Hospital as a Dialysis Technician in the Renal Department. In 2006, I was called to pastoral ministry and have been serving the Indian Tamil community ever since, now placed at Otahuhu Community Baptist Church. I’m in a Senior Pastor role for more than 15 years. I’m also serving at a school board, in a local Christian school for more than 5 years. So, I have had a good governance experience in all those years and I have been constantly learning around governance tables. There is always so much to learn there.

I love reaching out to Indian Tamil communities outside of Auckland. We have done outreach ministries at Hamilton for many years and now we have a Tamil Fellowship at Glenfield( North Shore). I love the gospel. The salvation I graciously received from our Lord Jesus I do not take for granted. I want to bring a connection to the gospel to the best of my ability wherever I’m placed, be it in a Church setting or in a governance setting.
