Cliff Thompson brings the Word from Matthew 28:18-20, encouraging us to go boldly after what God has called us to. When we are lost-people-centric, this becomes a powerful scripture. Following Jesus' command to go requires stepping out of the familiar, making ourselves available, working with people, and getting our hands dirty. MAKE CAKE. 

Lucy Talsma brings the Word from the book of Ruth. Ruth demonstrates the sacrifice in kindness. One of the boldest things we can do is be kind. Is kindness and tender concern for others shaping our decisions, discussions and the way we think towards one another?

Eduardo Mendonca brings the Word from Acts 13:1-3. Here we find the church had an ongoing practice of worshiping and seeking the presence of God as a community. The sole purpose of their gathering was to praise and minister to the Lord. It was in this posture that they heard the Spirit's direction. How often do we come together in this posture? Do we seek God's guidance, do we seek to make decisions before we seek God's presence? Have we got it the wrong way round?
